Our Mascot: Sirius

You may have noticed the dog on our home page sporting a bowler hat. That is indeed, Sirius, the inspiration for name Sirius Theater Company. Because of his part in the name of the company, we only thought it appropriate to make the canine our mascot. The 4 year-old German Shepherd was adopted in November of 2012, and was given the name Sirius because he looked much like a mangy wolf-specifically the infamous character in the Harry Potter Series, Sirius Black. Althought this 120lb German Shepherd may look rather scary at first, he is the most gentle, loyal, and fun-loving dog you could ever hope to come across.

What does Sirius like to do?

In his spare time, Sirius likes to snuggle with his two owners, play dead for attention, and drool on the carpet. He takes joy in people-watching, jumping on the bed when no one is looking, and following found and artistic director, Tiphany Schulze, about the house. Sirius would also like everyone to know he does not wear a hat around on a regular basis, although he believes he pulls off a bowler hat rather well, and he hopes to see you at one of our shows!
